Small Toaster Ovens
A simple way to make toaster oven comparisons
Deciding which ovens are small toaster ovens wasn't easy. We used a simple way to compare toaster ovens, so we could separate "large" from "small".
If the oven can hold a 12" pizza, we call it a large toaster oven. If it cannot, then it is small. Even though we call them small, some of them are still pretty big.
Most of the ovens we feature on this site are large. This is probably because the larger ovens are more durable, and receive better feedback from their owners. However, a few of the smaller ones did pass our screening tests.
So, if you can't cook a 12" pizza in a small oven, then what can you cook in it? Obviously you can make toast. You can also reheat sandwiches, French fries, or a couple of pizza slices. Some models are even a combination of a toaster and oven - a 2 slot toaster combined with the oven.
The biggest advantage of a compact toaster oven is that it takes up less counter space. They can also be hidden in a cabinet when not in use, if you prefer.
If you don't want to look at your countertop toaster oven, a toaster oven cover is a good idea. Toaster oven covers come in a variety of sizes and designs. You should be able to find one that matches your kitchen décor.

The crumb tray is removable, and it comes with a single shelf, a pan, and a grille for the pan.
